Deborah started at WVU on October 2, 2023, as a Prevention Education Specialist, with focus as the new Title IX Specialist. She was previously employed by the Federal Bureau of Prisons from April 2002 through December 2022 and retired after 20 years of federal law enforcement service as an Associate Warden.
She has one son, Rance, who is about to enter his last year as a WVU Mountaineer and one grand dog, Queenie. In her spare time, she is currently taking guitar lessons.
