Campus Conversation to Be Held
Mark your calendar for a Campus Conversation on Monday, February 27 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Rhododendron Room, Mountainlair.
West Virginia University President E. Gordon Gee will be joined by Rob Alsop, Vice President for Legal, Government and Entrepreneurial Engagement, and Cris DeBord, Vice President for Talent and Culture, to discuss the proposed Human Resources Legislation – SB 274 and HB 2542.
The session also will be available to watch live at so that all WVU campuses may participate. Supervisors are encouraged to allow their staff to attend or view this discussion as long as their operational needs permit.

Mission Statement

Staff Council promotes a positive work environment for all Classified Employees through effectively advocating for our peers in the University’s decision making process.

The West Virginia University Staff Council was created to provide the classified staff employees of West Virginia University a means of conveying their concerns on employee-employer relations. This council was formed with recognition that all matters at West Virginia University are governed by state law, by the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission, and West Virginia University policies and procedures.
